Through Saturday, July 27, in our Ground Floor Gallery.
Since its founding in 1913, The Garden Club of America has maintained for its members a significant library of rare books on gardening. To mark its centenary, the Grolier Club will present "Gardening by the Book: Celebrating 100 Years of the Garden Club of America," on view May 15 through July 27, 2013. This little-known but remarkable collection of treasures illustrates the activities of the premier American gardening association over the course of a century, through superb color plate books on natural history and floriculture, treatises on garden design and landscape architecture, and early photographic works on gardening. Visit our Public Events page to see a schedule of lectures and tours relating to this show.
Through Saturday, May 25, in our Second Floor Gallery.
