Generally, orders from non-members should be made through The University Press of New England (UPNE), a publishing consortium specializing in the arts and humanities, and the exclusive distributors of Grolier Club publications. A full list of Grolier Club titles in print is available on their website. Trade discounts are offered to booksellers.
Certain Grolier Club titles published jointly with other organizations, or published by others to accompany Grolier Club events, are available directly from the Club, as listed below. Planned in connection with the eponymous Grolier Club exhibition held December 9, 2008 through February 14, 2009, this volume explores the history of the Grolier Club through its ground-breaking program of exhibitions, and its long and distinguished series of publications.
GROLIER FINE PRINTING : NEW SERIES, NO. 4
11 x 8; VII, [3], 460, [1] p. Over 200 illustrations in duotone and color, many full-page, and many tipped-in. Typeset in a modified version of Monotype Dante, designed by Giovanni Mardersteig, Verona, Italy and printed in an edition of 279 copies on Hahnemühle Schiller paper, manufactured in Dassel, Germany. Letterpress printing by Bradley Hutchinson, Austin, Texas; offset printing by Thames Printing Company, Norwich, Connecticut; binding by Campbell-Logan Bindery, Minneapolis, Minnesota; design and production by Jerry Kelly, New York, New York. The deluxe edition was sold out before publication. The regular edition consists of 250 numbered copies bound in terra-cotta boards printed with an overall design of Club devices, plum cloth spine titled and with the Club device in gilt: $300.
