Minutes, correspondence, financial records, reports, printed ephemera and clippings documenting activities of the Grolier Club, 1884-1984. Correspondence files include: general correspondence (1917-1923); library correspondence; and correspondence of the club secretary (1898-1916). Also correspondence files relating to trips organized by the club. Financial records include bank statements, cancelled checks, check stubs, receipts, checkbooks and vouchers (1891-1984). Minutes include minutes of the council (the governing committee of the club) and minutes and other materials of club committees including: Modern Fine Printing (ca. 1969-1977); Nominating Committee (1911-1926); House Committee (19884-1957); Committee on Publication (1884-1894); and Committee on Arrangements (1904-1924). In addition there are several scrapbooks and other collection of printed ephemera created by the club as well as newspaper clippings, etc. Collection includes guest book containing signatures and visiting cards of attendees (mainly mining engineers) at the Paris Exposition of 1900.
