Bernard Rosenthal, born in Munich in 1920, is an antiquarian book dealer based in Berkeley, California. After immigrating to the United States in 1939, Rosenthal, the son of a bookdealer, entered the trade in 1949 and began his own business in 1953. He served as President of the ABAA from 1968-1970.
Scope and Content Note: This collection contains 64 photographs relating to Rosenthal’s work as a bookseller, including images of his bookshop, book fairs, and fellow book dealers.
